Once more is never enough.
Question: How many times have you enjoyed your favourite thing? For example a song, movie, food, etc. One hundred times, one thousand times, no! It’s never enough for us, right? Sounds boring or silly, but in reality the simple joy and happiness that these things can bring, for the 2.30 mins a song can last, or 2.10 hrs a movie's length, is worth it. Life is short, so no matter how you enjoy it, just do it and keep it going, it’s really important.
An example of how to enjoy life is this lovely lady, 25 something yrs old (aka 70+ years old), that I met at a Slayer concert at Copps Coliseum! Slayer concert!? Yes. This lady was right on the front barrier at the general admission ground waiting to see Slayer, along with 500 or more hardcore metal heads ready to rock, push and mosh pit.
Before the gig started we were amazed and wondering what she was doing there. Are you in the right place? We assumed she had a ticket purchased. I chatted with her for a little bit and she was telling me about the many concerts and shows she has witnessed, from Elvis Presley to Slayer, with that great smile on her face, trying to tell me how happy she was, being there at her age. Thine Eyes Bleed the band opener started and all the guys around her attempted to protect her, like a human shield, so she wouldn't get hurt while every one else was literally flying over her head. She was having a blast, believe it or not! Jumping and swinging around. At that point, it wasn't too busy yet because it was only the opening act. But after they finished and the stage was getting ready for Slayer, the tour manager requested she sit in a safer area, about 50 meters away from the barrier, for security reasons - the management was concerned about her safety. Amazingly she refused to do so, she argued “I paid to be here Sir and I’m not moving anywhere!” After a few tries, the tour manager agreed to let her be, accepting her own risks, as well as ensuring that both security and the metal heads kept an eye on her. Later on she got a picture signed by Slayer. A good gesture to an unusual circumstance during a Metal concert.
Let’s never forget that very simple things in life can bring so much happiness, so no matter how busy we are, just enjoy the ride of life.
Cheers.

The tours begin…
Back in 1990, my best friend and I started to chat and share everything about music from glam, grunge, metal, etc. He was telling me about the times he attended concerts in the past and stories behind them and I was amazed to hear them every time. One day Iron Maiden (one of our favorite bands) was coming to México and Monterrey City, so he suggested to do the trip to Monterrey, and having some more days to visit the city as well and try to see if we can run into the band (that sounds crazy, I wondered), but in the end we manage to be at the right place, at the right time. Getting to meet your favourite band on the first concert, it’s like hitting a home run on your first swing as a Baseball professional. Something that you will never forget.
Now after moving to Canada , each year I manage to attend just my favourite bands, will be impossible to go to all in the end. I can’t go far back with pictures and reviews but I’ll try to show some highlights of them.

Where should I start?
Born in Mexico (North east of the Gulf to be specific), I now live in the capital of Ontario. I am thankful for all the people "the great Canadian family" who have been there for me all these years. After being away from my home, I know my family and friends, Canadian and Mexican, are always a big part of me.
So, the main purpose for this blog is to share my experiences, through my point of view, and my camera lens.
Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.
